Empowering Lives Through Arts

At The Playhouse Collective, we enhance the lives of children and older adults through theatre arts, dance, and meaningful social connections that foster creativity and community.

Amy Cave (Artistic Director) is a dynamic director, choreographer, actor, and educator with a Bachelor of Arts in Arts and Performance from the University of Texas at Dallas. She is the Founder and Artistic Director of Resolute Theatre Project, where she champions new theatrical works and supports emerging artists through initiatives like the RTP New Works Development Program and the KidWorks Theatre Festival.

Amy began her dance training at the age of 2½ with Nita Braun’s Talent Workshop in Farmers Branch, studying under Nita Braun and Mary Six Rupert, a former Radio City Rockette. Participating in the programs has enriched my life and created wonderful connections with others in the community.
